Job Summary
Monitor performance of investment properties in portfolio, ensuring that they meet industry standards and investor requirements. Report status of Investment Fund portfolio to investors.
Major Responsibilities
- Quarterly review of corporate portfolios of residential multi-family properties. Identify the properties with operational problems, and facilitate resolution with respective parties.
- Prepare corporate investor reports in industry accepted format.
- Monitor insurance, tax and refinancing status for multi-family properties.
- Coordinate independent engineering review of properties as required.
- Coordinate the collection of project cash flow and reporting fees.
- Monitor property compliance with meeting various agency requirements.
Major Duties
- Review corporate financial statements on a quarterly basis, including income and expense analysis, balance sheet analysis, and budget to actual comparison.
- Facilitate the resolution of issues discovered in the quarterly review process. Communicate with management companies and general partners to obtain information and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with other departments and oversee approval of capital payments.
- Monitor and review construction progress and approve draw requests.
- Prepare, review and monitor all internal and third party site inspections.
- Coordinate workout solutions to troubled properties.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- 5+ years experience and supervisory skills
- Related property management experience
- Knowledge of affordable housing and Section 42 properties a plus
- Advanced degree in Finance or MS in Real Estate preferred
- Computer proficiency in spreadsheets, database management systems, and word processing.
