Job Summary
Perform comprehensive financial analysis of assigned funds and assets in accordance with their upper and lower tier agreements and tax credit and passive loss projections.
Job Description
- Report to VP-Asset Management and work in conjunction with VP-Asset Management, portfolio managers and asset managers.
- As directed, review and analyze fund and project level reports and documentation, including budgets, tax returns, audits, quarterly operating systems, and partnership agreements.
- As directed, perform cash flow analysis.
- Identify issues and situations that could adversely affect the value and performance of the funds and assets. Perform moderate to advanced technical/analytical work, identifying and evaluating alternatives and providing recommendations and solutions to the VP-Asset Management.
- Perform analysis for residual values and debt resizing.
- Prepare financial analyses for use in evaluating and implementing asset disposition strategies.
- Prepare periodic performance analyses and assessments for use in fund and asset forecasting.
- Assist in the development of the financial analysis skill sets of asset managers.
- Mentor asset managers in identifying, interpreting, evaluating, and mitigating financial issues.
- Participate in training and educational sessions with asset managers.
- Assist in the preparation of various materials for presentation and participate in presentations when appropriate.
- Provide input to the Vice Presidents of Asset Management and to the Senior Analyst of Asset Management, regarding development of proformas for existing and new properties.
- Recommend processes and procedures for streamlining financial reporting and analysis.
