Major Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing developers.
- Develop and qualify a developer prospect list.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the various state agencies, including review and comment on QAP’s.
- Attend, participate, and represent Sterling at/in meetings, conferences, trade shows, coalitions, political action committees, groundbreakings, grand openings, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with soft money lenders/providers.
- Act as the primary contact with the developer for any transaction that is originated, with underwriting support from the home office.
- Prepare and annual business plan and budget with quarterly milestones for measuring performance against the aforementioned activities.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, preferably in finance, real estate, business
- Graduate degree a plus
- An established network of real estate developer contacts.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing preferred.
- A high degree of motivation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Desire to travel regionally.
- Professional sales training.
